A variety of grants, funds and scholarships are available within the Methodist Church.

Media & Communication Endowment Fund To provide funds to enable more effective communication within and beyond the Methodist Church. 30 June
Ministries Development Grant To enable new ministries and mission projects to develop in the life of the Church. Anytime
PAC Distribution Group For innovative and creative use, for the furtherance of the Mission of the Church at local, district or national level. 30 June
Professional Development Grants Committee For the acquisition of skills and experience that will enhance ministry. 15 Feb, 15 May, 15 Aug, 15 Nov
Bradley Trust Grant

To support one or more major research projects in the church and community.

Property Development Grant This fund is administered by the Methodist Church Property Committee (MCPC). Full information can be found in Bricks and Mortar, section 14 page 84.   
Green Grant Pūtea Tiaki Taiao We are excited that the Green Grant Pūtea Tiaki Taiao initiative was launched at Conference 2022 to respond to the impact of global warming. It will offer three levels of funding for projects that address climate change.  31 Mar and 30 Sep

Robert Gibson Methodist Trust Awards bursaries to boys, girls, young men and women who are attending University, Polytechnic, or other approved educational institutions. 20 November
Smethurst Trust Fund

Methodist women in NZ and indigenous church workers in the South Pacific to further their study (not necessarily theological).

Stipends Assistance For parishes, when a minister is unavailable for normal ministry tasks. Anytime
 Trounson Trust Financial assistance for those in special need whether through bereavement or illness. For lay and clergy. Anytime
Wellington Methodist Charitable & Educational Endowments Trust Grants to support child and youth development projects in the Wellington Region. 31 December
Kurahuna Education Grants and Scholarships Fund

The Kurahuna Educational Grants and Scholarships Fund is supported by the New Zealand Methodist Women's Fellowship and works in partnership with Te Taha Māori. This grant is available to Methodist Māori Girls requiring financial assistance for educational purposes from Year 9 to Year 13 - college.
