In our Gospel text today Jesus shares two parables on sowing of seeds, that acts as similes to the Kingdom of God - 'The kingdom of God is like.....' These follow very shortly after the parable we generally know as the 'Parable of the Sower,' and allow us a new lens through which to see that parable.
