KIA ORA, WELCOME TO THE WEB PAGE OF TE PUKE & MT. MAUNGANUI METHODIST PARISH.
This is our first attempt at creating a relevant and interesting website for this growing Parish. So hope you find your way around easily and this be an interesting site. First check out this page for overall useful items, then, click on links below to take you to the two churches of the parish. Te Puke Methodist Church and Mount Maunganui Methodist Church are both active in their local communities. We extend an open door to any who wish to worship with us, and through the OpShop at Te Puke, we support many local residents with education and sporting grants, as well as local clubs and schools.
Te Puke Methodist Church is on the corner of State Highway 2 (Jellicoe St.) and Oroua Street, coming from Tauranga, look for the first big Norfolk Pine tree. We're on the right, just past the Beacon Motel. The tall brick tower tells you it's us. We are the only church on the main road.
Sunday services are at 10.30 a.m. with Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
We welcome many nationalities and many overseas visitors.
The Mount Maunganui Methodist Church is down Puriri Street in Mount Maunganui. Turn off Maunganui Road, opposite the Country Garden cafe, look for the big cross on our entrance carport. "You are welcome here."
Sunday services are at 9.00 a.m. with Communion on second Sunday of the month.
A Tongan language service is held at 12.00 noon every Sunday too.
