Combined Circuit Service
at St Stephens
This morning we were delighted to be commissioning Rev Graham Colley as part-time supply to the Circuit until December and welcomed him and his wife Jenny.
Deacon Margaret Birtles from the Waikato-Waiariki Superintendency Team commissioned Graham and also affirmed Rev Doris Elphick in her continuing role as Circuit Superintendent. Ngaire Southon lead our worship and Rev Ralph Vickers officiated at the communion. The service was followed with a finger food morning tea.

Past and present members of the Wesley Tramping Group met to farewell one of their long-standing members, Maurice Boniface (with pack), who is shifting to Wellington to be with his family.
New Circuit Superintendent
Synod has appointed Rev. Doris Elphick as our Circuit Superintendent. She is a Methodist supernumary living in Matamata, and will work with us until someone else is appointed.

This morning we welcomed Brittany and Ben Bishop and their family and friends, as they brought Aria to be baptised. The photo shows Viv introducing Aria to the congregation after the Baptism Ceremony.

Wesley Methodist Church
We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10.00am and there is a warm welcome for everyone to join us.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and everyone is invited to join with us and participate.
Children and young people attend the first part of the service and then may join the 'Wesley Kids' or the Youth Group as they follow the 'Seasons of the Spirits' programme with Bible Study, arts, crafts, and much more.

Western B.O.P. Methodist Circuit
Wesley is a member of the Western B.O.P. Methodist Circuit. The circuit consists of three churches, Wesley, St Stephens and Te Puke. Wesley is in the 'Avenues' area of Tauranga and St Stevens is in the suburb of Otumoetai. Please contact the church office (Phone 07-578-8493) for more information.
