Eligibility. The Robert Gibson Methodist Trust is a charitable trust with discretionary power to award bursaries to boys, girls, young men & young women who are attending University, Polytechnic, or other approved educational institutions.

The Trust's Constitution requires that preference be given to orphans, & to Methodist or Presbyterian students who desire to follow an agricultural course. Nevertheless, assistance from the Trust is not necessarily restricted to those groups.

The Trust seeks applications from students with potential, who, because of financial circumstances, may not be able to undertake or continue tertiary education.

Value: Applicants who meet these criteria of ability & need may be granted bursaries ranging from $750 to $2000.

Closing Date: 20th November, for next year's courses. Late applications will not be considered.
