ECUMENICAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Mission and Ecumenical committee has oversight of the relationship of the Methodist Church of New Zealand to the following ecumenical bodies:
- National Dialogue For Christian Unity Aotearoa New Zealand
- World Council of Churches (WCC)
- Christian Conference of Asia (CCA)
- Pacific Conference of Churches
- Christian World Service (CWS)
- Churches Agency on International Issues (CAII)
These are all important working relationships for The Methodist Church of New Zealand. Over the years many people in the life of our church have benefited from attending and being involved in courses, conferences and assemblies of ecumenical bodies. All provide significant forms of ecumenical formation for leaders in our church.
Mission and Ecumenical is also represented on the 'Anglican-Methodist Dialogue'.
