Service on 30 August
On Sunday 30 August we will have the Parish Service of Holy Communion in place of the usual first Sunday in September. This is so Poneke Rohe, who meet on a fifth Sunday, can join us for communion on this occasion.
The Mana Congregation will also be part of the service.
The Samoan Congregation are scheduled to do door stewards/morning tea duties.
Ruth Penberthy
Ruth Penberthy, who with her husband Colin attended Wesley Church from the early 1970s, died on Wednesday. Her funeral will be held at Wesley Church this Monday at 11am.
Gondwana Voices in Concert
From Australia: The Gondwana Voices will perform at Wesley Church, directed by Lyn Williams, with the Wellington Community Choir and Wellington Community Children's Choir, directed by Julian Raphael.

Tickets on the door: $10 adults, $5 children.
Service on 12 July
Theme: ‘Don’t Lose Your Head at the Party!’ Come prepared for a winter party - wear something red. Bring a winter story or joke.

Wesley Church Playgroup
On Mondays at Wesley a children’s playgroup is held in the New Hall from 10am. Parents, grandparents, friends and anyone in the community welcome.
Wesley Exercise Class
Every week at Wesley, there is a free exercise class. It’s a low-impact, fun aerobic class for all the family. Held at 6pm on Thursdays in the Old Hall. Health checks 1st Thursday of the month.
10am Congregation:
Loaves & Fishes Lunch
Shared lunch every third Sunday after the morning service, held at a member's home. Loaves & Fishes Lunch will next be held on Sunday 12 July.
Singing Group
Practices after morning tea on Sundays. New singers always welcome.
TOFSS
Too Old for Sunday School? Year 8 and upwards meets regularly. Check notices for updates.
Explorers
A monthly discussion group exploring issues of life and faith. Explorers next meets on Thursday 9 July.
Bring and Share Lunch
A friendly, informal gathering. Meets every fourth Thursday in the chapel at 12:30pm (except December). Bring finger food to share. Bring & Share Lunch will next be held on Thursday 23 July.
