Tongan Congregation

Malo e lelei! The Tongan Congregation meets for services in the Tongan language each Sunday at 12pm (except 1st Sundays). Sunday School is run beforehand, from 10:30am-12pm.

Parish Steward is Valeti Finau.

Home groups are also run in Central Wellington, Newtown, Strathmore, Tawa  and Porirua. Other activities include...

Choir Practice and Brass Band
Like all the congregations at Wesley, the Tongan Congregation has a choir, which is open to all. We also have a band—the Taulanga U Brass Band—and we meet every first weekend in the Old Hall, Friday-Sunday for a special camp.

Congregation Prayer Meeting
Fridays, 6:30-8:30pm, in the church (except third Fridays, in the Old Hall).

Youth Programme
Meets regularly for activities.

Women’s Fellowship
Prayer meeting, second and fourth Mondays, 7-9pm, in the church.
Monthly meeting, every second Saturday, 12-6pm, New Hall.
Confidence building and crafts, every fourth Saturday, 12-5pm, Old Hall.
