Wesley Inner City Counselling Service
A non-profit, quality service provided by the parish and Wesley Community Action, the Wesley Inner City Counselling Service offers individual and couples counselling for a small fee, depending on what people can afford.
This service is available to everyone, regardless of religious or lifestyle choices, and is run from special counselling rooms at the Parish Office.

Downtown Community Ministry (DCM)
Downtown Community Ministry provides an ecumenical ministry to the city on behalf of St. Peter’s Anglican, St. Andrew’s and St. John’s Presbyterian, the Wellington Society of Friends, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic and Wesley Wellington Parish.
Since DCM was formed in 1969, it has acted as a catalyst for a number of community initiatives which have then continued in their own right. DCM also has a significant advocacy role in the city.

Wesley Community Action
Wesley Community Action (previously Wesley Wellington Mission) was formed as the social services arm of Wesley Wellington Parish. A Social Services Trust Board was established in 1949 when Mr & Mrs W. T. Strand donated a 150 acre property at Naenae for an eventide settlement.
Today Wesley Community Action provides a range of residential and community-based services for young people, families and the elderly.
