World Day of Prayer
St. Mary of the Angels is hosting the 2010 World Day of Prayer annual ecumenical service for the Wellington central churches. Please come along and join in this important event. Friday 5 March, 6:30pm, St. Mary of the Angels, Boulcott Street.

Pre-Loved Fashion Sale
The 6th annual Pre-Loved Fashion Sale comes to Wesley Church on Saturday 13 March, 9am-12pm, New Hall, in support of the New Horizons for Women Trust.

Come along and bag a bargain! Your support can help provide awards to assist women and their families improve their access to education.

Caprice Arts Trust presents L’Etoile Inconnue
The Caprice Arts Trust presents L’Etoile Inconnue at Wesley Church on Friday 19 March, 6:30pm, in the church, a lyrical, aesthetically satisfying concert with music that sears your heart and mind and lifts your spirit!

Performers: Wikkie Vis (cello, guest artist from the Netherlands), Sharon Yearsley (soprano), Natalia Mann (harp), Jonathon Berkahn (piano), Justus Rozemond (clarinet), Rachelle Eastwood (flute) and Josiah Young (saxophone).

Programme - Part I: Carlos Micháns - Music for Harp and Clarinet; Jack Body - Aeolian Harp (solo cello); Lyell Cresswell - Lacrimae (solo cello); Natalia Mann - Migration (solo harp); Douglas Lilburn - Piano Sonatina No. 1 (solo piano); Armando Ghidoni - Music Wonderland (flute, piano)

Programme - Part II: Eve de Castro-Robinson - Commemoration for Gerard Crotty (solo cello); Johannes Brahms - Zwei Gesange Op. 91 (soprono, cello, piano); Alphons Diepenbrock - Berceuse;

Door sales available - Adult $25 each, student (with ID) $15 each, school age children $7 each and $60 family tickets available (CASH only please - we are forced to charge a $3.00 clearance fee for payment by cheque).

Regular Parish Events:

Wesley Playgroup
Every Monday a children’s playgroup is held in the New Hall from 10am. Parents, grandparents, friends and anyone in the community welcome.

Wesley Exercise Class
A free, low-impact, fun aerobic class for all the family. Held at 6pm on Thursdays in the Old Hall. Health checks 1st Thursday of the month at the same time. All welcome!

Drama Christi
Amateur drama group. Meets weekly on Monday evenings. More information is on the website - visit: www.dramachristi.org.nz

10am Congregation:

Explorers
A monthly discussion group exploring issues of life and faith. Usually meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30pm.

Too Old for Sunday School (TOFSS)
A group for Year 8 and upwards. There are no regular meetings at the moment, but check back here for special events.

Loaves & Fishes Lunch
A shared lunch, held at a congregation member’s home, every third Sunday from 12pm.

Bring and Share Lunch
A friendly, informal gathering. Meets every fourth Thursday in the chapel at 12:30pm (except December). Bring finger food to share.

Singing Group
The 10am Singing Group practises after morning tea on Sundays in the Drama Christi Studio and participates in services at least once a month. New singers are always welcome.
