At the Cheshire Riding Disabled Home that Cathy resides in. It is Cathy's group and her vision for the group is for the residents to develop friendships with the Christians that she knows, from her church, and for the residents to be able to have answers to the many questions they have about Christianity. I see this group as a warm up friendship group that could lead to holding an Alpha for the disabled. I am encouraging the small team who help me to get the confidence to start groups themselves, or to draw others into such groups. I am also encouraging them to be willing to give personal testimonies, answer peoples questions and to pray for people. We start with supper and friendship and finish with a short chapter from the book Living Free in Christ by Neil T Anderson and a prayer to commit to personal growth in God. This group at some point will not necessarily need me in it. I have planned it that way.

Not Meeting At The moment
Our vision is to equip the saints through fellowship, worship and ministering in the word.

As the material choice changes, so can the teachers be changed. Lorraine, Charlotte, Robin and Malcolm lead in worship followed by the reading of a chapter or two from the assignment by Mike Murdock. We see the whole group growing up in Christ to fulfill their various roles within the church and also the wider body of Christ.
Recently, we ran a seminar for a church camp and those that went stepped out and did extremely well. This is something our vicar and his wife have longed to see happen. We were pleased to bless them by stepping out with their blessing to minister to another church denomination

This is a church sharing group. Currently it is all women, (even though that was not the intention) it seems to be growing fast and much looked forward to. We meet for a cuppa and a time of sharing, then Lorraine leads in worship, Carol-Anne opens in prayer and I read just 1 chapter from the Assignment. I encourage interaction and opinions to be shared during the teaching. The group seems to be facilitating healing from past hurts and gaining a better understanding of one's value and usefulness for God and his kingdom purposes. Deep sharing is occuring and prayer ministry (as needed by a devoted team of ladies). I am encouraging group growth. This day time group is meeting a need within the parish particularly for new comers and is open to all. I purposely lead this group with Lorraine's assistance.

Hosts Anne & Bryan
This an Alpha follow-up group. The goal is for Alpha participants from All Saints to have a group they can go to and from that form friendships and learn more about being a Christian. We sing a hymn or a song, open in prayer and either Jim or myself or Malcolm read a chapter from Living Free in Christ, followed by a prayer committing to personal growth as a Christian. We encourage questions and meet at times outside the group for fellowship and encouragement or ministry.
