| Welcome to the Mt Albert Methodist Church. We have provided Christian witness as part of "The Methodist Church of New Zealand Te Haahi Weteriana O Aotearoa" on our site since 1866. The first Methodist service at Mt Albert was held in 1866. Land was gifted and later that year the first church was built. New building, extensions and renovations have since taken place on the same site. The original church now forms part of the current church hall.
