ABOUT THIS PLAN
As the Government moves the country into a "Stamp it out" phase, the new response to community transmission may be to lock down regions of New Zealand instead of the entire country. Therefore different regions or cities may be on different alert levels than the rest of the country.
This means that we can no longer rely on a single Alert Level document for all of the Connexion at any given time. This document seeks to have all the different Alert Level advice in one document.
These pages are currently based on our previous Alert Levels documentation and lessons learned, and it will be updated as, when and if further community transmission surfaces and the Government issues more advice and directions.
This applies to everyone but is being sent to presbyters and parish councils so they are informed of Church expectations and government requirements.
Changes between versions will be highlighted in yellow.
Version 4.2 Updates the Alert Level Changes of the week beginning 21 September 2020 and marks where our CV partners' advice may differ from MCNZ advice.

The longer this virus takes to spread, the better off we all will be. This gives our health-care people time and space to manage the additional load with their finite number of people and resources.
As we continue to better understand how to slow the spread of COVID-19, we need to do all we can to keep our churches, families, friends and local communities safe.
The Church leaders both locally and nationally are working to find ways in which we might work together and separately in the weeks ahead.
We need not hoard, we need not cower in fear.
We need to keep good hygiene habits, and at times we will need to keep our physical distance from each other.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you,
I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
