General Guidelines for Advertising Ministry Positions on the Methodist Church of New Zealand Website
• Advertisements are placed on this website from a variety of sources. Please use the contact details associated with each advertisement. The Administration Division is not responsible for any of these advertisements, and cannot assist with any applications.
• It is a requirement of the Methodist Church of New Zealand that all applicants for Ordained ministries will be ordained in a church that is a member or associate of the World Methodist Conference or World Council of Churches. Applicants must also be in good standing with their church of ordination and all other churches in which they have worked.
• The Council of Conference of the Methodist Church of New Zealand has declared a temporary moratorium on processing new applications for ministry appointments from overseas while an evaluation is being completed on the Church's stationing needs. From 1 October 2011 no new applications will be received from outside New Zealand until further notice, unless otherwise stated in a specific advertisement. This applies to all stationed ministry positions that come under Methodist Oversight. This does not apply to Board, Committee or Chaplaincy appointments.

Indooroopilly Uniting Church in Australia is seeking a vital and informed Ministerial leader to work in team with the Minister in placement, Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Nolan, and to resource and grow its ministry to children, youth, young adults and families. this involves resourcing lay ministry in specialist programmes, and leading an evening comtemporary worhsip service. This is a full time ministerial placement within the regulations of the Uniting Church of Australia.
