SAINT CHAD'S ANGLICAN - METHODIST CHURCH, HUAPAI
Children and Families Worker


Saint Chad's Anglican-Methodist Church in Huapai, North-West Auckland is a Local Shared Ministry unit that has a vision to reach out to families and children within our community. We would like to employ someone to help us fulfil this vision. The position of Children and Families worker would be part-time for 10 to 15 hours per week, to be negotiated.

The tasks of the person appointed to this role will include:
1. Establishing and running a children's programme at the same time as and incorporated to some degree into our Sunday morning services.
2. Strengthening connections with families and children who already have an association with St Chad's church.
3. Establishing and running children's programmes designed to reach out to children and families beyond the church.

The person appointed to this position will have a deep Christian faith along with the passion and skill-set to lead and develop this ministry. She/he will be a good communicator who can lead "up-front" with energy, creativity and a sense of fun, while being passionate about seeing children (and their families) fulfilled, challenged and growing in their Christian faith. The ideal candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work as part of our Ministry Support Team.

Hospital Chaplain - Hawke's Bay Hospital

The Interchurch Council for Hospital Chaplaincy (ICHC) comprises a broad composition of Churches. We are committed to promoting, maintaining and developing, relevant, flexible, and competent Chaplaincy services within the Aotearoa New Zealand healthcare environment. The primary purpose of our ministry is to foster good health through excellence in pastoral care. Our Chaplains stand alongside other healthcare professionals in the hospital setting. We are committed to the principles of partnership expressed in the Treaty of Waitangi. Spiritual care and support is provided by Christian Chaplains in the most appropriate way for all healthcare clients, regardless of religious denomination, faith-orientation, beliefs, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Clients are at liberty to access the spiritual care of their choice. Our Chaplains' role is to coordinate that process.

MILSON COMBINED CHURCH
Half-Time Minister Position (22.5 hours)

Milson Combined Church, Palmerston North, is a small friendly church with a big heart for Jesus. We are seeking a half-time ordained minister (or someone studying towards ordination) to lead our Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian Cooperating Church. We are currently under Presbyterian governance. Applicants should be eligible to work in New Zealand and to be received by one of the three partner churches.

We desire someone who has a real heart and love for the Lord Jesus.

We are looking for someone who:
- has sound biblical knowledge
- is guided through Bible study and prayer
- is able to encourage and teach
- understands and develops spiritual giftings in others
- can develop faith foundations across all ages
- will support outreach programmes, seek new opportunities to share the Good News
- and someone who can grow our church community activities to strengthen our relationships.
